Become a Member in 6 Easy Steps
🎤 Step 1: Visit a Rehearsal
Join us at a weekly rehearsal to experience the excitement of singing in a vibrant, four-part a cappella chorus. You’ll see firsthand what makes Cincinnati Sound Chorus a standout in the region. Guests are always welcome!
🎶 Step 2: Voice Placement
Once you’re ready, we’ll help you find your ideal vocal part—Lead, Bass, Baritone, or Tenor—through a simple and supportive voice placement session. No prior experience is necessary, just your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
💬 Step 3: Connect and Participate
Spend time getting to know our members and immerse yourself in the CSC experience. Join us in rehearsals, participate in vocal warmups, and enjoy the sense of community that defines our chorus.
📆 Step 4: Schedule Your Audition
When you feel confident and ready, you'll coordinate with your section leader to schedule a brief, friendly audition. This gives you a chance to demonstrate what you’ve learned and how your voice blends within the group.
🌟 Step 5: Audition and Feedback
During your audition, you’ll perform a selected piece with support and encouragement. Constructive feedback is provided to help you grow, and if you meet the membership criteria—congratulations, you’re ready to join!

Welcome to Cincinnati Sound Chorus! Once you’ve completed your audition and become a member, you’ll gain access to performance opportunities, education, coaching, and the camaraderie of an inspiring and dedicated musical family.
